The Gorilla Trekking Experience

Mountain gorillas are wild animals and, as such, sightings cannot be guaranteed. However viewing success rates are over 90%. Once found, tourists are given one hour with the gorillas. Staying in Bwindi a night before trekking is required due to your early morning start. As trekking can sometimes take a full day, a second night’s accommodation is also highly recommended. Gorilla tracking timings and conditions vary tremendously as the gorillas move continuously through the rain forest. The terrain is often steep and through areas where there are no marked paths.

White-water rafting down the ferocious rapids of Uganda’s White Nile is experience in Jinja, Despite there being lots of long, tumultuous grade VI and grade V rapids, no experience in white-water rafting is required. For most people, this will be their first time white-water rafting!

Game Drive and Game Safaris in Uganda

Chimpanzee are the most sought after primate by visitors, but you should look out for the black & white colobus, red tailed monkey or the grey cheeked mangabey. it involves trekking through the forest in search of the chimpanzees that keep on swinging from one tree to another. Chimpanzee trekking starts very early in the morning and every trek begins with the tour guides giving tourists the guidelines and rules that need to be followed.
